NFL Draft fact proves just how consistently great the Buffalo Bills have been with Josh Allen and Sean McDermott

Having early draft picks is awesome if your team needs talent, but picking late is a testament to the team's consistent ability to win football games. While the Bills are still chasing a Super Bowl appearance, one figure proves just how good this team has been in the Josh Allen/Sean McDermott era.

Since 2020, the Bills are the only team to have not held a top-22 draft pick. Year in and year out, the Bills have been relevant, capable of going on a run in the playoffs like they did last year.

Shout out to my guy Uber for having that stat.

The Bills are a great team. Every year, when the odds come out, they're right near the top of the Super Bowl odds, despite having never brought a Lombardi Trophy back to Western New York. Last season was a special one, showcasing that Josh Allen is capable of doing essentially whatever it took to will his team to victory, earning his first NFL MVP in the process despite losing Stefon Diggs last offseason.

Buffalo has the unfortunate task of having to run the AFC juggernaut to make it to the Super Bowl. If it wasn't for existing at the same time as Patrick Mahomes' peak, who knows how many rings Allen would have collected at this point.

But there are no excuses in football. To be great, you have to beat great teams. Buffalo has come up short against the Chiefs in four out of the last five postseasons, coming up just short in the AFC Championship Game in January. Now, armed with 10 draft picks, GM Brandon Beane will attempt to add the missing pieces to a roster desperate to finally get over the hump and hang a championship banner.
