New York Jets Star Sounds Off on Potential Blockbuster Trade

The New York Jets have been mentioned as a potential frontrunner to land All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams as the NFL trade deadline looms, which would be just one of the offense’s most explosive weapons.

Second-year wide receiver Garrett Wilson weighed in on the Jets potentially trading for Adams, ahead of Sunday’s game in London against the Minnesota Vikings, saying he’d welcome another weapon in quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ arsenal.

“Yeah, that’d be cool,” Wilson told reporters.”I feel like it’s cool if we get him up here. Like I always say, if it helps us win, let’s do it.”

Adams to the Jets has garnered major speculation, given the All-Pro’s longstanding connection with Rodgers from their time together with the Green Bay Packers.Ezoic

Some have even suggested that Adams insists on being dealt to the Jets, an assertion that has been refuted in the last few days.

It isn’t surprising to see a strong market developing for Adams, given that through his first 10-plus seasons, the 31-year-old has caught 890 passes for 10,990 yards with 96 touchdowns, while averaging 12.3 yards per reception.

The duo of Adams and Wilson, should a trade ultimately go down, would certainly create a formidable duo for Rogers as the Jets make a push for the playoffs in the AFC.
