The New York Jets are hard at work preparing for the 2024 NFL season. With four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers on the mend and returning from a torn Achilles in Week One of the 2023 season, the Jets figure to finally be able to contend for Playoff spot in the AFC. There are already rumblings that Rodgers could very well add the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year Award to his trophy case.
Getting back on the football field is almost certainly a sigh of relief for New York after their disappointing 2023 season that saw them finish 7-10 (again) and eventually part ways with former second overall pick Zach Wilson.

However, it must also be nice for the team to be the headlines for what is going on in practice instead of for off-the-field stories. Unfortunately, the latter continues to be an issue for them as Rodgers continues to take podcast guest appearances to speak his truth about a wide variety of controversial topics.
During a two-hour long interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Rodgers talked about COVID, the vaccine, and the sponsors he lost as a result of his stance on the polarizing issue. He also slammed the NFL for requiring teams to have a 90% vaccination rate in a tangent in which he claims “Big Pharma” is controlling the league:
“Even in the NFL, there was a strong push. They sent stooges out to every team to try and enforce a vaccination level above 90% on every team with zero exemption, with zero informed consent. Just get this so that we look good because Big Pharma ad spend is humongous, not just on the late-night shows. It obviously influences Hollywood, the NFL. So you have to understand who is actually putting the strings here.”
According to Sportico, the top five biggest groups of businesses that advertised in the NFL during the 2022 season were technology companies, betting and gambling sites, beer companies, telecom businesses, and insurance companies.
New York Jets Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Speaks on Pat Tillman
Rodgers and Carlson also talked about things that they think the government is hiding from the general public. One of these things is the truth surrounding the death of former Arizona Cardinals star Pat Tillman:
“Another one of my heroes, Pat Tillman, who left the NFL to join the Army, his death is very suspicious as well. Not the fact we know that he was killed by friendly fire, but the way they handled his body afterwards, his uniform, confiscating his last journal, using his death to prop up the war propaganda.”
Carlson said he didn’t even know the story about Tillman’s journal.
“His uniform was burned and his journal was confiscated,” Rodgers said.
