We are now just three days out from the season-opener at Lucas Oil Stadium as the Houston Texans get set to take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1.
As is the case with every offseason and every team, however, the Texans saw a good amount of new faces walk through the doors this offseason via free agency. They also landed a crop of talent what should be the backbone of a new foundation beyond 2024.
With a fresh set of new talent, multiple players have changed their jersey numbers before the start of the regular season. Three players traded in preseason numbers for active ones following roster cuts.
This can make it a bit confusing to identify every player who takes the field in the new Steel Blue and Liberty White on Sundays.

Here is an updated look at Houston’s 53-man roster with jersey numbers ahead of its Week 1 matchup so you can watch the game without asking, “Who is that?” every five minutes.
