The Buffalo Bills brought in a wide receiver in Joshua Palmer that has plenty of experience playing with a big-armed quarterback throughout his time in Los Angeles with Justin Herbert, but the Ontario native, who's happy to be closer to home, is ready to make a difference for his new club.
According to Palmer, he believes he still has plenty to prove, and he feels Buffalo can be the place to unlock it.
"I know maybe I just scratched the surface with this, but I think I'll be able to exploit my strengths, and I'll be able to prove to them and myself that this is the reason why I want to be here with a passion," Palmer said.
The receiver was asked to do some self scouting, to which he answered that he takes a ton of pride in his ability to run the entire route tree. He also takes pride in lining up inside or outside, and prepares to be able to play all over the formation. In his time in Los Angeles, Palmer played alongside Keenan Allen and Michael Williams. Palmer said they all had the ability to line up anywhere and win, also saying that he doesn't like to be labeled as an X or a Z — to him, he just plays receiver.
Palmer will bring great versatility and a proven ability to win at all levels of the field to the Buffalo offense, something that will make both his new quarterback Josh Allen and offensive coordinator Joe Brady very happy.
