‘Might As Well Start Interviewing People On The Street”: New York Jets Fans Disappointed Over Team Interviewing Kansas City Chiefs OC Matt Nagy

The New York Jets will be looking for a new head coach for the 2025 NFL season and beyond. Robert Saleh was the head coach of this football team to start in 2024, but he was fired during the middle of the season.

Jeff Ulbrich was named the interim head coach of this football team for the remainder of the season. One name who is interviewing for head coaching openings this offseason is Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy.

On Wednesday afternoon on Twitter, the Jets’ Twitter page announced that they had completed an interview with Matt Nagy for their head coach vacancy. Nagy was a head coach in the NFL before with the Chicago Bears from 2018 to 2021. After the 2021 season was over, the Bears fired him and general manager Ryan Pace.

Nagy made it to the playoffs a couple of times with the Bears. He made it to the playoffs with a 13-3 record with the Chicago Bears in his first year with the team and that was the last time that the Bears won the NFC North division. This is an interesting candidate for the New York Jets to interview. Nagy made the playoffs twice with Mitchell Trubisky as his starting quarterback.

Why setback your franchise another 5 years?

Hard pass on this guy!!!

I’d cancel my Sunday ticket, shelve my jerseys and start watching women’s soccer.

You guys keep working the same old formula and it’s not working. Try doing something different. We are really tired of woody, his 17 year old, and an inept coaching staff. Please hire someone to run the show when hour interference from the owner and his teenager.

There will be other candidates that the New York Jets will interview as head coach. The one guy that Jets fans want is Rex Ryan to come back and coach the team and not Matt Nagy.
