Mia Thornton is turning to an Airbnb to get herself privacy with her boyfriend, Inc.
Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac continues to peel back the layers of the complicated relationships between Mia Thornton and the men in her life.
Things between the mother of three and her new man, Inc (short for Incognito), are “hotter than ever,” as previously teased in the season’s official description. But she is still navigating the ropes of romance after she and Gordon Thornton — the father of Mia’s younger two children — called it quits in 2023 after more than 10 years of marriage.
Of course, it can’t be easy when still living under the same roof with your estranged husband, and in Season 9, Episode 3, Mia fessed to the “strange” way she and her new beau kept their romantic lives separate from Gordon.

Mia made the confession while she and Inc enjoyed a staycation with Jeremiah, 8, and Juju, 6. She thanked Inc for the excursion because, as Mia said, “Gordon is always in our space.”
But it doesn’t stop the ex from coming by her place, Mia told friends Jacqueline Blake and Pat. Some of the more recent interactions included Gordon visiting Mia to care for a hangnail, and on another occasion, he stopped by to fetch his coffee cup.
Pat suggested Mia remain “positive” as Gordon continued to deal with the break-up in his own way.
Mia dishes a little more about Inc
In the Season 8 reunion, Mia told the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host Andy Cohen that she and Inc were an item when they were younger, but that he eventually moved to Atlanta to pursue a career in radio.
A photo published by RHOP shows the couple attending their senior prom.
“Inc and I are high school sweethearts,” Mia said in the recent episode. “We dated into our young, adolescent adulthood. He’s my best friend.”
The balancing act of Mia Thornton
In the RHOP Season 9 premiere, Mia said Gordon lived with her and the kids in her new apartment building, something Mia touched on in the recent episode.
“Gordon being in the same building is definitely beneficial for the children,” Mia said. “My dad, not being in my life as an adolescent, was a disaster. So, I hold that responsibility of making sure that my kids have a positive father influence in their lives.”
Mia announced in the Season 8 finale that she and her children’s father had secretly split in July 2023.
More to come as The Real Housewives of Potomac continues, airing Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo and streaming the next day on Peacock.
