Maxx Crosby Sends Six-Word Response to Ex-Raiders Coach Jon Gruden

Maxx Crosby and the Las Vegas Raiders are heading into a new chapter of the organization under head coach Pete Carroll.

After a 4-13 season, the Raiders fired head coach Antonio Pierce and made the move to hire Carroll. They also made another major decision in extending Crosby.

The Raiders defensive end signed a $106.5 million deal with Las Vegas, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, in terms of annual pay.

After the news, ex-Raiders head coach Jon Gruden took to social media to send a message to Crosby.

"Nobody deserves it more than Maxx," Gruden said. "His effort is unmatched!"

Crosby then responded to Gruden's message, sharing his thoughts on the former Raiders coach.

"Love You Coach!" Crosby said. "More Is Required."

Gruden served as the head coach of the Raiders from 2018 to 2021, when the organization played in Oakland, California.

His last stint in the NFL came in 2023, serving as a consultant for the New Orleans Saints in 2023.

Gruden is now in the media landscape, working as an NFL personality for Barstool Sports.

Crosby has been a rare bright spot for the Raiders organization for the past few years. In the midst of the struggles, he's been named to four straight Pro Bowl games. Last season, Crosby posted five pass deflections and 7.5 sacks before being shut down with an ankle injury.
