The early portion of the Los Angeles Rams' offseason had to do with a major shakeup at the wide receiver position, as the team replaced Cooper Kupp with Davante Adams.
Already, it looks like the connection between Adams and Matthew Stafford is off to a hot start.
During an OTA practice, the Rams social media account captured what ended up being a beautiful, slow-motion video of a deep pass from Stafford to Adams.

Sure, it is only OTAs, but this is all we've got as fans. Right now, Rams fans are starving for as much content as possible, and this counts as the good stuff.
Adams' first look in Rams gear, and on the field, simply looks right. This is the pairing the team is hoping will help put the team over the top come playoff time.
Davante Adams was an upgrade over Cooper Kupp, but you don't need OTA highlights to prove it
Some Rams fans might not want to admit the fact that Adams is a significant upgrade over Kupp, but the reality is just that.
Over the last three seasons, Kupp's injury woes have limited him in a big way. He has not topped 1,000 yards receiving in any of the past three campaigns.
Meanwhile, Adams has done so in six-straight seasons. Whether it's been with the Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders or the New York Jets, he's performed. He's still been that alpha wide receiver his quarterbacks can count on.
He may have lost a bit of a step, but next to a weapon like Puka Nacua, Adams is going to be as much of a problem as he's been in any of his last two or three seasons. Nacua will allow him the privilege to find more open space, just as the situation was for Kupp.
But, the hope is that Adams can be on the field much more consistently. If he can, then we should look forward to many more pristine connections between he and Stafford.
