But when it comes to basketball, the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver is riding with Auburn, at least a little farther in his NCAA tournament bracket.

Marchmadness.com has released a collection of celebrity brackets, and Smith’s picks show Auburn in the Final Four as the winner of the South Regional after beating Alabama State, Creighton, Michigan and Michigan State.

Smith has the Crimson Tide bowing out against Duke in the East Regional final after downing Robert Morris, St. Mary’s and BYU.

The rest of Smith’s Final Four includes Connecticut and Houston, with Duke defeating UConn in the championship game.

Another pro athlete with Alabama roots who picked a bracket for marchmadness.com was Baltimore Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson. The former Morgan Academy star and Alabama Mr. Baseball was committed to Auburn before the Orioles picked him in the second round of the 2019 draft, and Henderson has the Tigers as the national champions, predicting a victory over Tennessee in the title game. Henderson’s other two Final Four teams are Florida and Duke.

Former Pike Road High School star Quinshon Judkins took time out from preparing for next month’s NFL Draft to fill out a bracket. The former Ohio State running back chose Auburn, Florida, Duke and Houston as his Final Four teams, with the Gators topping the Blue Devils in the title contest.

Judkins played two seasons at Ole Miss before joining the Buckeyes in 2024, and he has the Rebels losing their first-round game.
