The Los Angeles Rams are trading in the city skyline for ocean views next month, as they head to Maui for a unique four-day mandatory minicamp. Team president Kevin Demoff joined Hawaii Governor Josh Green on Wednesday to announce a partnership with the Hawaii Tourism Authority that will bring Sean McVay’s squad to War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku from June 16–19.
LA will conduct on-field workouts during their stay but will also engage in community outreach across the island throughout the week, reinforcing their commitment to using football as a force for connection.
“It’s a great opportunity to use the platform that we’re blessed with to recognize the real heroes,” McVay said, echoing sentiments he also shared during this year’s NFL Draft.
Los Angeles Rams Training Camp: Set Up Maui Camp Trip
The Rams have become known for taking their football operations beyond the usual playbook. In April, they announced a massive 52-acre development in Woodland Hills called Rams Village, which will include a 350,000-square-foot state-of-the-art team headquarters. While construction continues, the team is temporarily based out of Woodland Hills and will again hold training camp at Loyola Marymount University, just as they did last year.
Their recent draft was also far from conventional. Continuing a now-annual tradition of hosting the event at meaningful venues, the Rams held their 2025 draft at the Los Angeles Fire Department Air Operations hangar in Van Nuys—an homage to the first responders who played a key role during last year’s devastating California wildfires.
Looking further ahead, the Rams’ international reach continues to grow. They were granted rights in 2021 to market their brand in Australia, China, and Mexico. That effort will culminate in a milestone moment in 2026, when the Rams are scheduled to host the NFL’s first-ever regular-season game in Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Grounds.
From Wailuku to Warner Center, and eventually to Melbourne, LA is blending football with global outreach, innovative branding, and deep community roots—one destination at a time.
