Lisa Vanderpump hinted that she already has the core cast for the “Vanderpump Rules” reboot lined up.
In a December 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Vanderpump stood behind the network’s decision to “go back to the premise of the show,” with employees of her West Hollywood restaurant, SUR. “I think they thought to go back to the shenanigans of what actually happens behind the scenes in a restaurant which is like a revolving door of naughtiness,” she teased.
When asked if she “found the new SURvers” and if she knows who will be part of the cast, Vanderpump replied, “Yes, I have an existing group. But there’s always room for people because, you know, it’s West Hollywood. It’s people are always coming through the door, ‘Can I have a job?’ They’re there, you know, for kind of, not it’s not their primary ambition as we saw in ‘Vanderpump Rules.’”
In November, Bravo announced a complete reboot of the Emmy-nominated reality show with a new cast for season 12.
Some of the New Cast Members Could Be Friends With the OGs
Some of the past cast members have talked about potential “Vanderpump Rules” newcomers. On her podcast, “Scheananagins With Scheana Shay,” original cast member Scheana Shay said she is in touch with some of the current staffers and knows of one who did some filming for Bravo.
“I’m still friends with [SUR manager] Peter [Madrigal],” Shay said. “I talk to him often. One of the girls, who I’m not going to say her name, who is one of my friends from the past like eight years like she is a SUR girly, I think I met her in 2016, 2017, so she’s been there for a while, and I do know that she filmed some stuff. So, I’m like, you know, what if I get to watch her journey? She is someone I tried to bring on the show the last several seasons that I was working at SUR. I’m like, she actually works here, we’re actually friends.”
Speaking with The New York Post in December, “VPR “Vanderpump Rules” recurring cast member Ally Lewber teased the names of two SUR employees she hopes to see on the reboot. “There’s two girls, Demy and Hannah,” she told the outlet. “I love them, and I’m not sure if they’re part of that, but I suspect they are in some way.”
While Lewber didn’t share the last names of the SUR employees, the official SUR Instagram page follows an employee named Demyana Selem, and a SURver named Hannah Rose Lowe. Both women have posed in staff photos posted to the Instagram page as well.
Lisa Vanderpump Hinted That Some OGs Could Be Back
Vanderpump told ET that fans may not have seen the last of the ‘Vanderpump Rules” veterans, either via cameos on “Vanderpump Rules” or the spinoff series “The Valley.” “They’re all kind of big, vibrant characters and we’ll see all of them some in some respect,” she shared.
Vanderpump previously told Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap” fans can expect to see Tom Schwartz due to his role at her bar TomTom. “I think we’ll definitely be filming at TomTom as well [as SUR] for sure, I think Schwartz is going to be more involved in that,” she teased.
