Legendary NFL Quarterback Terry Bradshaw Makes Super Bowl LIX Prediction

The Kansas City Chiefs will have a shot at NFL history on Sunday in Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Kansas City can become the first team in league history to win three straight Super Bowl titles with a win over the Eagles next Sunday. The Eagles, meanwhile, are hoping to avenge their Super Bowl LVII loss to the Chiefs.

Legendary NFL Quarterback Terry Bradshaw Makes Super Bowl LIX Prediction

Ahead of the game, Terry Bradshaw revealed he apologized to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid for his comments during the 2023 Super Bowl. The analyst suggested Reid "waddle on over here" for an interview before telling him to "have a cheeseburger on us."

In an interview with People, Bradshaw revealed he immediately apologized to Reid for his comments. He also revealed he didn't believe the Chiefs had what it took to three-peat after his own experiences as the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback where he won back-to-back Super Bowl titles twice in his career.

"The hardest thing to do is to three-peat," he said. "Everybody guns for you. Everybody wants to beat you. Everybody rallies in the glory of beating the Steelers. It's hard to defend that title the third time. It's exhausting, mentally exhausting. Just really, you need a break. You need a break. I think that's why no one's ever done it."

While he didn't think they could get it done, he's now "convinced" Kansas City's three-peat is inevitable. That means the Chiefs, as Bradshaw sees it, will beat the Eagles next Sunday.

"I've said also that I did not think Kansas City could three-peat," he admitted. "Now I'm saying to myself, 'They've proven me wrong'... It's going to be a tough task for them, but now I'm convinced."

Super Bowl LIX between the Chiefs and Eagles kicks off on Feb. 9.
