“Laughed At The Idea” Cowboys See The Entire League Laughing At Them (Report)

The Dallas Cowboys’ new coaching staff has work cut out for them in 2025.  After injuries and poor play completely derailed their 2024 season, fans are eager to get back to the playoffs.  A healthy Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb will play a huge role in that.

However, there is one more addition that fans are mixed about.

According to multiple sources:

Multiple NFL teams reportedly “laughed” at the idea of adding Steelers WR George Pickens to their roster and inviting him into their locker room amid his reputation for being a head case, per jeffphowe.

“Word leaked during the draft that Pickens was available if anyone wanted him. Some teams polled by The Athletic at the time laughed at the idea of inviting Pickens into their locker room for any price, let alone a second-day draft pick. There wasn’t a lot of interest in talking with the Steelers about a trade,”

Pickens is ready to prove the haters wrong.

On a conference call Thursday, the 24-year-old polarizing receiver said he learned about the trade through social media:

“I found out when everyone else found out,” Pickens said, via CBS Sports. “I feel great. I like the mojo here. I like the swag. There’s a lot of new players I’ve been meeting. I feel like they have a good thing going, for sure.”

Pickens added he didn’t request a trade out of Pittsburgh despite rumors throughout the offseason. Steelers fans started speculating when Pickens was no longer following the team on Instagram.
