Las Vegas Raiders let go of several former staff members as they continue to add to the new regime's staff

The Las Vegas Raiders are going through a transition to another regime, which means the flushing out of staff and bringing in replacements. So far they have found their defensive coordinator, defensive line coach, offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach, and a few others. But, there is still plenty more that needs to be found.

On Tuesday, the guys that Pete Carroll wasn't going to bring back were announced.

Raiders won't bring back several members of Antonio Pierce's staff

In a significant shake-up within the coaching ranks of the Las Vegas Raiders, the organization has decided not to retain several key members of the previous coaching staff. Among those not returning for the upcoming season are running backs coach Cadillac Williams, who has been instrumental in shaping the team's rushing strategy over the past few years. Well, or lack thereof, as the Raiders had one of the worst rushing attacks in the league last year.

Receivers coach Edgar Bennett will also not be with the team. His departure marks a notable change in the coaching dynamic for the wide receivers.

Linebackers coach Mike Caldwell, who has contributed significantly to the defense's performance, particularly in linebacker drills and game strategies, will not be returning either. His expertise in defensive tactics will be missed as the team looks to rebuild its defensive lineup.

On the secondary side, cornerbacks coach Ricky Manning Jr., who has been pivotal in coaching the young talents in the cornerback position, is also leaving the Raiders. His exit could affect the team's defensive backfield, known for its agility and tactical acumen under his guidance.

Lastly, assistant quarterbacks coach Fred Walker, who worked closely with the quarterback room, providing support and strategic insights, will not continue with the team.

This reshuffling comes as part of a broader strategy to possibly inject new perspectives and methodologies into the team's coaching regime, aiming for a refreshed approach as they prepare for the challenges of the next NFL season. The Raiders are evidently looking to recalibrate their coaching structure, which could lead to new faces and philosophies in the coming months.
