Las Vegas Raiders Coach Antonio Names Player Who He's 'Excited' to See Play

The Las Vegas Raiders have a big game this Friday against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. The Raiders are currently 2-9 and are one of the worst teams in the league, and the struggles on the offense have been a key factor. However, the team is getting one of their up-and-coming offensive players back again this week, and head coach Antonio Pierce is hyped up.

Running back Sincere McCormick is back in the lineup once again this week after returning in last week's game for the first time since the beginning of October. "I'm excited about Sincere [McCormick] this week," said Pierce.

McCormick has been on the team's practice squad for most of the season and has not gotten many reps in actual games. In last week's game, the running back rushed for 33 yards on just five carries, and it caught the attention of Pierce, who thinks McCormick has earned his opportunity.

Here is what Pierce had to say about McCormick according to RaidersWire. "We see it every day in practice. Just opportunities, right? How many guys can we dress? We can't dress five running backs each week. You don't want to see it happen through injuries and guys getting hurt or anything of that nature, but when he got in there his first carry he went for 10-plus yards and the next one, he's bouncing off guys. Just the energy that he brought to our offense, I really liked that."
