Lane Kiffin reacts to ex-SEC coach confronting Alabama fan in viral video

Lane Kiffin may be the Ole Miss head coach, but he loves him some college football and everything that comes with it.

He re-posted a video in which an Alabama Crimson Tide fan spotted former LSU coach Ed Orgeron, who appeared to be going for a run.

It is unclear when or where the video was taken, but it didn’t stop the former Alabama offensive coordinator from joining in on the fun.

In the video, the fan approached Orgeron and said, “Hey, coach, sorry to bother you.”

He posed with the fan for a second, then the fan gave a, “Roll Tide.”

Orgeron didn’t appreciate the sentiment.

“Really?” he asked. “What was that about?”

The fan then tried to make nice with the former coach.

“I have respect for you as a person. I just was being funny,” the fan explained.

Orgeron countered with a little advice.

“I wouldn’t say, ‘Go Tigers’ to you after taking a picture with you,” he said.

Orgeron, despite the confrontation, was very gracious with the fan, who is from Tuscaloosa.

He explained that if the fan were an LSU supporter, he wouldn’t say, “Go Tigers” to Nick Saban.
