Lamar Jackson's Appearance at Camp Shows Commitment to Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL in Lamar Jackson, and he feels that he deserves to be paid as such.

Jackson is not a free agent until after the 2027 season, but he is only the tenth-highest paid quarterback in the NFL in terms of annual salary. As a result, the team expected him not to make an appearance at camp.

But that was not in fact the case.

According to multiple reports, the 28-year-old field general was at mandatory minicamp, which would have been a prime time for him to hold out and demand a larger contract. But he showed up to many people's surprise, and this shows just how committed he is to leading this team to a win in the Super Bowl.

The Ravens selected the former Louisville quarterback with the last pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and he has already become one of the best players in their history since then.

He has already won two Most Valuable Player awards and been named First Team All-Pro three times in his seven seasons in the league. Even though he has been with the team for seven years, he only became the team's full-time starter in his second season.

Jackson is committed to bringing the Ravens their third Super Bowl win in franchise history. As a result, the team is likely to give him the pay day that he deserves very soon.
