Is love in the air?
Bachelor Nation got to know and love Kathy Swarts from “The Golden Bachelor” and her podcast “Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour” with co-host and fellow Bachelor Nation star Susan Noles.
Kathy has been very open about wanting to find love again and what she’s looking for in a partner.
Now, she has taken to Instagram to share a brand-new dating update with her followers.
In a new video, Kathy said, “I want to give you all a little dating update on myself. So I was recently at a gala with my daughter and there were a bunch of athletes there. And someone I know said, ‘Hey, I want to introduce you to this guy.’”
Kathy continued, sharing how she felt like this guy could have possibly been the one she’s been looking for.
She described him, saying, “Age-appropriate, good-looking guy, I’m thinking, ‘Okay, this is it. You meet people when you least expect it. This is my time.’”
Kathy then revealed how the interaction didn’t go the way she was hoping it would.
“He introduces me and introduces my daughter. Have any of y’all ever heard the song ‘I Only Have Eyes for You?’” she stated. “Yeah, he only had eyes for my daughter. When I say he only had eyes for my daughter, I mean I could have fallen over, you know, with a heart attack, stripped naked, and he would not have noticed.”
Kathy finished her story and shared where she’s at now with her dating endeavors.
She expressed, “He could not take his eyes off my daughter, who by the way is happily married with an 18-month-old. Just saying. My daughter’s in her 30s, he’s in his late 60s. There you go. That’s my dating update. It’s a no-go. Still on the prowl.”
We appreciate Kathy’s sense of humor and know she’s going to find someone very special. We can’t wait to see who it is!
