Love is in the air!
Bachelor Nation fans got to know Katelyn on Season 28 of “The Bachelor” as she looked for love with Joey Graziadei.
Since her time on the show, Katelyn has been keeping fans updated with her life on social media and sharing what it’s like living in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Late last year, Katelyn took to TikTok to reveal that she found love off-screen with her boyfriend Lincoln, and this week, her Bachelor Nation besties reacted to the news.
Lea Cayanan took to TikTok and shared a video of Katelyn’s PowerPoint presentation titled, “How I secured my gym crush tutorial.”
Alongside the video, Lea wrote, “Taking notes brb!”
And Katelyn commented, “Should I drop the tutorial?!”
Jess Edwards responded, “Yes!!!”
Some of the tips Katelyn shared are go to gym, see cute guy at the same time, start going every day at the same time, start dressing up and being cute for gym, always run away anytime he gets within a 20-foot radius, and repeat for two months.
Katelyn also took to her TikTok page and shared a video saying how she and Lincoln eventually connected.
She said, “I live in Santa Fe and the dating scene is really quite hard. I just feel like there aren’t a ton of young people and I don’t want to date people I work with. So I have been going to the gym in Santa Fe for years since I moved here. When I came back from the show and I was going to the gym a lot and I would see Lincoln working out at the same time I would go, which was right after work. He was just my gym crush. I liked that he never looked at any women. He never noticed me and was my gym crush for months.”
She went on, “We would go at the exact same times. I am pretty quiet and shy and am not the type of person who would go up to someone. I would tell my friend Dakota who I would go to the gym with that my crush was there and that I would talk to him, but then I obviously wouldn’t talk to him. I never built up the courage. I didn’t want to make things uncomfortable, what if he had a girlfriend? I never built up the courage to do it.”
Eventually, one of her friends who she goes to the gym with went up to Lincoln and showed him her Instagram and around a week later, they connected in person at the gym and exchanged numbers.
Katelyn texted him that night and asked him out, they had their first date two days later, and she said “the rest is history.”
They have been dating since then and became official a month after their very first date.
