Karl-Anthony Towns Gets Injury Update For New York Knicks

Karl-Anthony Towns has been a dream acquisition for the New York Knicks.

The five-time All-Star is averaging a career-high 13.5 rebounds for the Knicks in what could end up being an All-NBA season. He's made the All-NBA Team before, but never better than the third team.

Towns' game has proven to be a great mesh with star point guard Jalen Brunson, as his pick-and-pop action is among the best in the league.

His 4.8 3-point attempts per game are the lowest since his fourth year in the league, but that has translated into better efficiency.

He's been making 3-pointers at a 43.2% rate, the highest of his career.

Will Towns miss time after injury in Boston?

The Knicks fell to the Boston Celtics 118-105 on Sunday.

In the process, Towns got hurt and limped to the bench.

He was looked at on the sidelines before being taken into locker room.

Towns was able to return for the last four-ish minutes of the game, but by then, the Celtics had already grew the lead back to double digits.

Head Coach Tom Thibodeau faced scrutiny in regards to the decision to re-insert Towns into the game.

On the latest injury report, Towns was listed as "questionable" ahead of their matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers Tuesday.

Center Mitchell Robinson is rumored to be close to returning, as Shams Charania said Sunday.

While Knicks fans will have to wait for the defensive-minded center to make his debut, it might be a good thing his first game back won't be against Joel Embiid.
