Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes Has STRONG Message for Fans After Receiving Third Super Bowl Ring

The Kansas City Chiefs made headlines earlier today when the Super Bowl LVIII rings were revealed. These rings are unlike any other we have seen from past Super Bowl champions.

One of the players who already received their ring was Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. Once he did receive this ring, he had a strong message for his fans. Read below to find out what that message is.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes Has STRONG Message for Fans After Receiving Third Super Bowl Ring

Patrick Mahomes Says “We Ain’t Done”

When Patrick Mahomes received his Super Bowl LVIII ring, he decided to put on his other two Super Bowl rings along with it. These are rings he won during Super Bowl LIV and Super Bowl LVII respectively. In the picture he posted on social media, these three rings were noticeably big and noticeably shiny on his hand.

However, it was what he said to caption the picture that garnered attention. The caption said the following:

“We ain’t done.” -Patrick Mahomes

Kansas City Chiefs Chasing NFL History

Mahomes’ message is a strong hint at what the Chiefs want to achieve. It is safe to say that he does not want Super Bowl LVIII to be the last one he wins. However, it likely goes further than that.

You see, the Chiefs have a chance to make NFL history. Kansas City can become the first team to win the Super Bowl three years in a row. It would make Mahomes and other notable stars on the team bigger football icons than they already are.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce discussed this almost immediately after winning Super Bowl LVIII. Many people thought he would retire after his playoff run last year. However, Kelce debunked this as soon as he received the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Why is this significant? When Kelce announced he was coming back next season, he specifically mentioned making NFL history with a third Super Bowl as a big factor in his decision.

Kansas City Chiefs Moving Forward

The Chiefs show no signs of slowing down. Mahomes is in the prime of his career and still has his favorite offensive weapon, Travis Kelce.

However, Kansas City will have some early tests with their biggest AFC foes right out of the gate. They open the season with an AFC Championship rematch against the Baltimore Ravens. Then, they face Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2.
