There’s no need to panic! Although Julie Chrisley is no longer in the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ custody, the convicted felon isn’t on the run. She’s still in custody somewhere; we just don’t know where.
Where in the world is Julie Chrisley?
The whereabouts of the Chrisley Knows Best matriarch became a topic of discussion in a Reddit thread recently when someone spotted that she was no longer listed in custody with the feds. At first glance, it almost sounded like she escaped through a hole in her cell or something. However, Fox 5 Atlanta did some sleuthing to get to the bottom of it.
As you might recall, Julie is set for a resentencing hearing on September 25 after she scored a major legal win. More than likely, she’s about to get a bunch of years shaved off her sentencing. Her lawyer predicted that she’d be home by next summer.
Julie filed a motion to have her resentencing hearing held virtually. You know her precious little self didn’t want to travel all the way from Kentucky to Georgia to face the judge in person. A judge denied that request, which likely explains her current status of “not in BOP custody.”
The U.S. Marshals Service confirmed that Julie is in their custody because they handle the transportation of federal prisons. Although they couldn’t confirm her exact location, it definitely sounds like she’s either on the road to her court date or has already arrived in Atlanta, Georgia.
Meanwhile, Todd Chrisley is still sitting in his prison cell facing his 12-year prison sentence. His latest appeal was denied, so he’ll be there until 2032. However, his wife is one step closer to freedom.
