Juliana Pasquarosa Shares Devastating Post Amid ‘Bachelor’ Breakup: ‘I Made It Through'

Bachelor fans found themselves with heavy hearts on Friday (June 13) when the franchise's most recent couple, Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa, announced their split via Instagram.

For those who are unfamiliar, Grant and Juliana met on The Bachelor season 29, where Grant served as the leading man. Popping the question to the Massachusetts native on October 31, 2024, the pair was together for just over seven months before calling it quits, which was seemingly a tough decision for the couple.

 

"Juliana and I have decided to end our relationship," Grant shared via his Instagram story to announce their surprising split. "We both gave this our best and poured a lot of love into each other, but after a lot of deep conversations, we've come to the understanding that we're simply not the right fit long term."

"What we had was meaningful. The connection we built on the show was real, and so was the effort we made to continue once the cameras stopped rolling," he added, causing fans of the Bachelor franchise to shed a tear.

Similarly, on Juliana's Instagram story, she gushed, "Marriage is a commitment and it's one we both still believe in deeply. After a lot of honest conversations and reflection, we've come to the decision that this chapter of our lives is meant to continue on separate paths," adding that they will be "cheering each other on" from here on out, just not as a couple.

As if their Instagram stories were not devastating enough, Juliana tugged on our heartstrings today (June 17) when she shared a carousel to her grid, seemingly addressing the breakup yet again. While the post consisted of the 29-year-old smiling in bikinis on the beach, the caption is what really broke our hearts.

"Closing this chapter with a healing heart and a quiet kind of peace. Not because it was all easy, but because I made it through with grace and growth," she wrote to kick off the caption of the post. Although the carousel did not feature a single photo with her former fiancé, her words alluded to the recent breakup nevertheless.

"I’m proud of who I’ve become because I’ve worked through what’s tried to break me. I choose happiness (and giggles), every day, because I’ve experienced what it feels like to lose it and what kind of fight it takes to get it back," she continued.

With a heavy heart, Juliana addressed both The Bachelor and Grant in the final paragraph of the caption. "I am so thankful for the opportunity that The Bachelor & Grant gave me to open my heart & mind to new experiences and new love. The community of people who watched & supported my journey is something I am eternally grateful for."

She concluded, "I hope we can move forward together and bring more love into this world, because that’s what we all need more of," seemingly hoping for a bright future.
