Jarrett "JT" Thomas and Venita Aspen are continuing to navigate the complicated dynamics of their relationship.
During Season 10, Episode 10 of Southern Charm, the duo got together to discuss their upcoming Bahamas trip and where JT stands with the group. In their individual interviews, they also opened up about where they stood with one another after the real estate developer revealed in Episode 8 that although he had feelings for Venita, he was seeing someone else.
"The bond between Venita and I, it's a beautiful thing," JT said during the February 13 episode. "And timing can be a mean mother f--ker, I guess."
"We do have this great friendship," he continued. "So now we know there's a line that we don't cross.That's kind of how it works."
The fashion influencer felt the same, even if they weren't exactly saying it to each other's faces.
"JT's my best friend first," Venita said in her interview. So if he really had a girlfriend, she noted she would "support that." However, she declared, "That also means that me being flirty and cutesy with you is done."
She stuck to that. When JT joked that he'd wear his "birthday suit" during the Bahamas getaway, Venita shut the idea down with a firm, "No."
"That is not an option here," she emphasized, shaking her head.
In her interview, Venita scoffed at JT's joke, saying, "Bro, come on."

During Episode 8, JT and Venita admitted their feelings for one another before JT dropped the bombshell that he was in a relationship.
"There's something, right? Like, you know that there's chemistry here? I do," JT said, to which Venita responded, "I had a feeling that it was there, but I didn't think that you would actually, like, say it!"
JT then went on to make his feelings clear: "Do I know we have chemistry? And am I attracted to you? Yes, and yes."
It was mutual. "My mouth is like, stuck in a permanent smile right now," replied the fashion influencer.
However, JT, continued, "I'm just being real... I'm seeing someone."
Are Jarrett "JT" Thomas and Venita Aspen dating?
No. Though JT and Venita were together for a short period, they have since broken up.
According to Venita, the former flames and besties have not even spoken to since October 2024.
As Venita explained during a January 16 appearance on the Housewives Nightcap podcast, their the romance was short-lived — and came to an abrupt end.
"I have no idea" why it ended, she admitted, "It was very jarring, and I think that I'm still kind of digesting it."
