Josh Allen needs reinforcements, one NFL expert suggests Buffalo Bills sign 9x Pro Bowler

Josh Allen once again saw his season come to an end at the hands of Patrick Mahomes. This time, the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs happened one game away from the Super Bowl. Allen has been upfront about where he saw the problem with the Bills, but those comments landed shortly after losing.

Roughly three weeks later, the team has had much more time to pick up the pieces. Of course, they can’t simply wave a magic wand and make their problems go up in smoke.

However, it is seemingly clear that with Patrick Mahomes losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in a blowout in the Super Bowl, the Bills have a long way to go to win it all. One NFL expert has a suggestion on how to get a jumpstart.

Kay Adams makes suggestion for Josh Allen’s Bills

Speaking on a February 17 edition of “Up and Adams,” NFL expert Kay Adams suggested former Raiders star Khalil Mack.

“Do we see them take a swing on Khalil Mack? Do they bring him to Buffalo where he played college ball? … I would love to see that. The Bills finished 18th in sacks this past season, so the pass rush surely could use a boost,” she said.

Khalil Mack is coming off a one-year, $20 million deal with the Chargers. The impending free agent would be going to the fourth team of his career.

Von Miller and Khalil Mack pairing up would be a crossover blast from the past

Von Miller and Khalil Mack were arch-enemies when both pieces were in the AFC West. From 2014-2017, Miller’s Broncos and Mack’s Raiders faced twice per year.

Both have since departed their teams for other destinations. However, if Adams’ suggestion were to be followed, Miller and Mack would be on the same team for the first time.

Mack is just one year removed from the most productive season of his career In which he logged 17 total sacks. He might be heading into an age 34 season, but it is clear he still has something to give. The question is whether the two sides could agree on a number. If they can, there would be worse pass-rushing duos than Mack and Miller.
