John Harbaugh’s sideline reaction to Lamar Jackson cooking the Steelers is perfection

One would think that John Harbaugh wouldn't be surprised by anything that Lamar Jackson does these days considering that he's had a front-row seat to the heroics his quarterback pulls off. Yet, as a mic'ed up clip of Harbaugh watching his quarterback throw a touchdown proved, that isn't the case.

After Jackson scrambled around and looked for sure to be taking a sack or at least not gaining anything from the play, the hopefully-soon-to-be three-time MVP made something out of nothing. Jackson ended the play with a touchdown pass to increase Baltimore's lead over the hated Steelers in the wild-card round.

Head coach John Harbaugh was in awe on the sideline watching this play out. He kept urging his quarterback to throw the ball away and then when Jackson did what he so often does, all Harbaugh could do was shake his head and say "Unbelievable" three times. After he was done wondering what the heck he had just seen, Harbaugh added, "I've never seen anything like that. I'm like 'throw it away, throw it away, throw it away.'"

This clip is so good because it truly does show how Harbaugh is the same as Ravens fans watching the game from home. While Jackson was trying to make magic happen, fans were likely also screaming for the quarterback to throw the ball away and not make the situation worse by losing yardage.

Instead, Jackson did what he's so accustomed to doing and fans exhaled while also being stunned. At this point, you wouldn't think anyone would be stunned by anything Jackson does on the field but here we are. There's a reason he's won two MVP awards and is hopefully about to win a third.

Hopefully we have another moment like this in the AFC Divisional Round showdown between the Ravens and the Bills. It'd be even cooler if Jackson did this in the final seconds to clinch a victory and a second straight trip to the AFC Championship Game.
