The Jets and Giants don't make a ton of trades with one another.
But the co-occupants of MetLife Stadium could line up a deal that would help both sides ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.
ESPN's Rich Cimini suggested a deal on his latest podcast that would see a speedy wide receiver change hands from one side of the building to the other.
Cimini's suggestion: Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt traded to the Jets. Hyatt was a third-round pick out of Tennessee a couple seasons ago after a monster career with the Volunteers.
"The concerning part is, here we are in late March, and … the Jets have arguably the worst group of pass catchers in the league,” Cimini said. “I mean, it’s Garrett Wilson and a whole lot of question marks.”
Cimini had a simple justification for Hyatt.

“Jalin Hyatt with the Giants … could be the odd man out in that receiver situation, especially if they go out and draft like a Travis Hunter," Cimini said. "(Hyatt is) more of a vertical threat more than anything else."
New Jets QB Justin Fields certainly wouldn't mind another target, especially one to take the top off of defenses and create just a bit more running space for the dual-threat.
Getting Hyatt for a draft pick wouldn't be a blockbuster, but it could be a sneaky solid deal for both New York teams.
