The New York Jets hit the reset button this offseason, hoping to redefine what it means to wear green and white in the process. In hiring head coach Aaron Glenn, general manager Darren Mougey, the Jets will strive to change the culture in East Rutherford and eventually end the playoff drought.
However, culture is just a buzzword until proven otherwise. New York will enter the season with a new quarterback in Justin Fields and a handful of offseason acquisitions that can help bring about that change.
There’s still plenty to learn regarding the starting lineup, final roster cuts, and other late-offseason moves. Fans and analysts will spend the next few months deciphering them. But on Wednesday, everyone got a glimpse of when those decisions might manifest themselves.
The Jets announced their full 2025 regular season schedule, as follows:

Notably, New York plays just two prime-time games: Week 4 in Miami and Week 11 in New England. That’s a significant decline from the Aaron Rodgers era (if four snaps and the 2024 season qualify as such) and a referendum on the expectations the league has for them.
Given how poorly 2024 went, the change under center, and the litany of stars that aren’t suiting up in East Rutherford, that isn’t a surprise. The Jets will have to earn the national spotlight through quality play, and not by winning the offseason.
New York will also play a game across the pond in Week 6, without a pre- or proceeding bye week. It will, however, have an extra week to prepare for the lowly Cleveland Browns.
Finally, Week 18’s details will be determined later as the league shuffles its schedule for playoff implications and optimal viewership.
