In a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Jesse discussed the show’s debut season, which has shed light on the couple’s marital issues — which eventually led to them calling it quits just ahead of the premiere. He confessed that he and Michelle had actually split in October 2023 but “kept it a secret … for the health of the show.”

Owing to divorce being “very traumatic” and “destructive” to children, Jesse and Michelle have since found a way to create the best environment for their 4-year-old daughter, Isabella Bunny Lally. Here’s how:

Where are Jesse and Michelle Lally living amid divorce?

Luckily for everyone involved, the family of three is still keeping things close.

“The one thing we agreed on was Isabella, and we are doing two days on, two days off,” Jesse told The Daily Dish. “Michelle moved out in February; she’s just a few blocks away.”

Jesse also confirmed he is indeed still living in the same home seen in the show.

"Yeah, I stayed in the Chateau Marmont house," he laughed. "As it's become known."

(Jesse is referring to the men of The Valley discussing Michelle's friendship with a director that she met at famed hotel Chateau Marmont, which she visited frequently thanks to its close proximity to her and Jesse's home.)

At the time of the interview, Jesse explained that Isabella planned to be with Michelle for the entire week before Jesse planned to take her the week after, which was something new for the real estate partners.

“We’re sort of at the point now where we’re 100 percent focused on Isabella and her health and wellness,” Jesse continued. “We had a meeting with the school right after we separated to make sure they kept an eye on her, and she’s been doing great.”

Jesse said the young child model is actually “super excited” about living in two homes.

“She’s been doing great, and she loves two houses,” Jesse said, noting that “Mommy’s House” has the new bed frame and “Daddy’s House” has the iPad.

“We’re getting there,” he added.

Jesse and Michelle are happily co-parenting during split

In separate interviews with The Daily Dish, the Lallys both said they brought their significant others to Isabella’s fourth birthday celebration. In case you missed it, Michelle recently confirmed she is in a romantic relationship with financial advisor Aaron Nosler, while in April, Jesse walked the red carpet with his new love interest.

“We’re sort of at the point now where Monday, April 15 was her birthday, and I was having a big birthday party,” said the father. “I invited [Michelle] and her boyfriend over so that Isabella would have both parents there.”

Michelle told The Daily Dish in her interview that Isabella gets along well with Aaron.

“Isabella loves him,” Michelle said. “He’s great with children and with Isabella, and I couldn’t ask for anything more right now.”

She also touched on the importance of stability in her and Jesse’s daughter’s life.

“I wanted to live close by because I didn’t want to affect Isabella’s life at all,” said Michelle. “I stayed in the same neighborhood so we could walk to school or walk to Jesse’s house, and it’s been lovely to live by myself again.”

Jesse on introducing Isabella to his new girlfriend

“We’ve been great friends for a while… no labels, no nothing. You know, she’s amazing with Isabella, and she’s such a beautiful soul, and she really kind of grounds me, and she just makes me super happy,” Jesse said of his new girlfriend. “So, we get to kind of take it one day at a time and see what happens.”

Michelle and Jesse’s woes at the end of their six-year marriage have been featured heavily in The Valley. Both cited “constant conflict all the time” in their relationship and even took a stab at couples’ therapy, as seen throughout the debut season.

“It was a tough road to get there, but everybody knows how separation is,” he contended. “It’s not easy, and everybody gets blamed for everything else. But here we are in a better place.”
