Jesse Lally Clarifies Claim He Received Money From a Man: "Wasn't a Huge Amount" (EXCLUSIVE)

Jesse Lally has a theory about Michelle Saniei's motives for revealing his "birthday present" on The Valley.

The never-ending war of words between Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei on The Valley Season 2 has returned to the topic of finances — and what each may or may not have done for cash.

As seen on Episode 5, Jesse once again accused Michelle of sleeping with men in exchange for payment, before later retracting his statement. That prompted her to cryptically question why some guy sent him money on his birthday.

"It wasn't like a huge amount of money. It was a birthday present," Jesse later explained on The Valley After Show, describing the unnamed friend as "one of 50 people" at his and Michelle's October 2018 wedding. "She's just trying, again, to do something so everybody hates me."

Michelle, for her part, noted that she "didn't call Jesse an escort," as he had intimated about her, adding, "And I should've because he got a Venmo amount as well, which was actually more than I got."

What Michelle Saniei said about Jesse Lally being "broke"

A split of Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei.

The estranged spouses attempted to have a one-on-one conversation during a Santa Barbara wine tasting, as seen on Episode 5. After the sit-down quickly devolved into them both name-calling, Michelle alleged, "You f–king spend all of our money!"

It was hardly the first time she'd levied the accusation, though. After it came to light that Jesse had alleged in the boys' chat that Michelle cheated with a billionaire for $1,500 a night, she retaliated by claiming that Jesse was "broke" and could not even afford to pay rent.

"He spent all of our money, and he left me with nothing," the mom to 5-year-old Isabella said in Episode 3. "He doesn't pay me one dollar of child support. Nothing."In a previous After Show clip, Michelle further insisted that Jesse was "in a lot of financial trouble," before breaking down her ex's spending habits, including on expensive wines that she said he couldn't actually afford. Michelle also alleged that Jesse "stopped working" at their luxury real estate company when she was already on maternity leave, but didn't slow his spending.
