The reality star shared that he made some new discoveries about his behavior during his time in the mental health treatment facility.

Jax Taylor Discovered He Was A Textbook Narcissist
The "Vanderpump Rules" alum shared more details about his rehab time with listeners on the Friday episode of his "When Reality Hits" podcast.
When asked if he would consider himself a textbook narcissist, Taylor honestly replied, "Yes." Thanks to his marital issues with Cartwright for the discovery.
Taylor continued that he has also "learned probably five new terms" that he had "never heard" of before commencing treatment at the facility in July.
"I've done them all for years, and I had no idea. I am a narcissist, yes. I breadcrumb, I love bomb, and also gaslighting. I'm missing some but I do all these things. I had no idea there were terms for these things," admitted the reality TV star.
Taylor then promised to look up the meaning of the various terms, and according to Page Six, he was surprised that he fit into their descriptions.
"So yes, I have to humble myself and say, 'Do you think you're a narcissist?' And I do. I don't know how I became one, but I do believe I'm a narcissist," he revealed.
Taylor's Diagnosis Still Remained A Mere Self-Assessment
The reality star quickly clarified that no doctor has officially assessed or diagnosed these "qualities" yet. He declared, "I am not a doctor, so I can't say that for sure. But by just looking up the definition, I have to agree."
The reality star continued that he has no idea he has been "this person for years," noting that he was never held accountable for his actions "for many, many years until recently– until people have had enough."
The podcaster noted that people were tired of being careful around him, including his ex-wife, whom he "took for granted."
Brittany Cartwright Begged The Reality Star To Seek Help For Anger Issues
In the spirit of sober reflection, Taylor admitted that he was sad it took him a while to seek professional help after years of endless pleas from his estranged wife to work on his anger problems.
"Brittany has been asking me to do something like this for a very long time, and I just come from a background where we just really don't ask for help," he declared.
He, however, expressed his intention to break the toxic cycle with his son, Cruz, stating that "if he needs help, he can ask."
The Bravo Star Second Guessed His Exit From Rehab
Taylor's time at the treatment facility changed him in numerous ways, and when it was time for him to leave, the decision became difficult.
The Blast reported that the star clarified that the change did not happen overnight as he initially hated the idea of getting healthy and was scared to overcome his addictions.
Leaving the treatment center was tough because the facility provided his life with the structure he really needed, and the reality awaiting him outside those walls made him teary.
Taylor's schedule at the treatment center included getting up in the morning, grabbing breakfast, and reading as much as he could.
His fear of the outside world stemmed from the feeling that people would be angry at him for his mistakes. He also confessed that he was not ready to get back to filming "The Valley."
Cartwright Served Taylor The Divorce Papers At His Doorstep
The Blast reported that Cartwright didn't wait another day before serving her estranged husband with divorce papers after she filed them. The 34-year-old allegedly hired a process server to deliver the papers to Taylor at a North Hollywood property on August 24.
The residence is located less than ten minutes from the $1.9 million mansion once shared by the estranged couple. Taylor was reportedly served at 11 a.m., on the same day she filed her divorce petition in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Is Jax Taylor working on making amends for his failed marriage with his confessions? Only time will tell.
