The Philadelphia Eagles legend, who retired from the NFL earlier this year, will cover his brother Travis' Chiefs game for the first time since moving into the broadcasting booth for ESPN.

And, as just as he did on his Philadelphia homecoming on the network last month, the retired center intends to begin Monday Night Countdown with a bang.

Kelce took to social media just hours before he was due on air to reveal that he would be making an early arrival in Kansas City.

He asked the online Chiefs Kingdom for recommendations as he unveiled his plans to hit up Arrowhead's tailgate scene.

'Headed into the Kansas City tailgate scene before the game today,' he posted to X, formerly known as Twitter.

'Probably hitting lots C and D, anybody have any recommendations on things I have to hit, or a tailgate Shaman that can show me the ropes this afternoon?'

Last month, Kelce entertained the masses with his hilarious antics when he returned to Philadelphia - as a broadcaster - for his former team's Week 2 clash against the Atlanta Falcons.

He certainly made the most of his status as an ex-player as he was seen tossing beers to fans.

In another moment, he could be seen enthusiastically dancing onstage in an all-green tracksuit - and some fans were questioning whether or not he'd be in a condition for live TV.

Although fans loved his rambunctious display, Kelce did later shutdown suggestions that he was drunk while performing his ESPN duties.

He told brother Travis during an episode of their podcast New Heights, that despite tossing about 100 beers, he did not consume one. However, Jason acknowledged the difficulty of fighting temptation.

Kelce was equally as rowdy - if not more - while watching his tight end brother during last season's playoff run.

Kelce headed to Buffalo with his wife Kylie to cheer on the Chiefs in a playoff match against the Buffalo Bills in January, meeting Travis's girlfriend Taylor Swift for the first time ahead of the game.

Despite warnings from his wife Kylie to be on his best behavior as they met Taylor for the first time, Jason decided to strip off his shirt in the VIP suite at Highmark

Following Travis's first touchdown of the game, Jason was filmed roaring into the night without his top on, holding a can of beer in the 20 degree weather. His wife Kylie could be seen watching on stunned in the background as the celebrations in suite erupted while mom Donna was pointing at Jason going wild.

He was then sensationally filmed jumping out of the window of the box and climbing into the stands to celebrate with the thousands of fans packed into the stadium. He necked the rest of his beer before climbing back through the window in extraordinary scenes.

Kylie reportedly relayed a message to Jason via Patrick Mahomes' dad to 'get his a** back' in the box.

Kelce arrived in Kansas City on Saturday to attend Travis' Kelce Car Jam with mom Donna and dad Ed on the Chiefs star's 35th birthday.
