Jarrett "JT" Thomas took several turns in the Southern Charm Season 10 reunion hot seat.
Before the drama-filled Southern Charm Season 10 reunion really got underway, host Andy Cohen wasted no time addressing one (of several) elephants in the room, this one involving Jarrett "JT" Thomas.
As Andy greeted each Southern Charm-er individually, JT insisted he was feeling "great" and that it was "good to see" everybody, which raised eyebrows for a few reasons, not least of all that he was on the outs with a majority of the cast by the season's end.
"Last I saw, you quit the show," the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host bluntly pointed out in response.
Why did Jarrett "JT" Thomas quit Southern Charm?
JT's explanation for quitting was simple: "Yeah, my inner bitch, um, had a moment," he said. "I was able to successfully, today, tell it to . . . quiet down, I'm sorry."
That's when Season 10 newcomer Salley Carson took the opportunity to throw some shade JT's way, commenting, "Your inner bitch comes out a lot."
JT Thomas faced Venita Aspen for the first time since they dated at the reunion
That was hardly the only uncomfortable moment JT had from the jump.
As viewers learned at the conclusion of the Southern Charm Season 10 finale, JT began dating one-time "best friend" Venita Aspen, two months after cameras stopped rolling. As an end card revealed, however, the whirlwind romance soon ended with Venita unfollowing JT on social media, and they hadn’t spoken since.
That was, until they came face to face at the reunion.
After Venita revealed that she and JT last spoke on the very specific date of October 28 (for context, the reunion filmed in New York City on February 6), JT said, "It's good to see you." Her response: "Is it? Yeah, OK." Cue an awkward silence on the set.
