Goff and Williams have hooked up for five regular-season touchdowns, and all covered at least 32 yards. Monday night’s TD replaced a 52-yarder in the Lions’ season-opening 26-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams at the top of the list.

Williams’ touchdown allowed Detroit to take a 35-20 lead with 2:52 left in the third quarter.

Goff threw his second touchdown pass of the game – an 8-yarder – to wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown with 5:23 remaining to put the Lions ahead 42-27.

Goff became the first player in NFL history to throw more than 10 passes in a game without an incompletion.

Goff also caught a touchdown pass on a 7-yard throw from St. Brown.

Detroit didn’t rely entirely on the pass. Like Williams an Alabama alumnus, running back Jahmyr Gibbs had 78 yards and two touchdowns on 14 rushing attempts. Gibbs scored on a 3-yard run with 14:48 left in the first half and a 1-yard run with 5:11 left in the first half.

Williams finished with two receptions for 80 yards and one touchdown.

Seattle quarterback Geno Smith completed 38-of-56 passes for 395 yards with one touchdown and one interception, running back Kenneth Walker ran for 80 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries and wide receiver DK Metcalf had seven receptions for 104 yards.

In addition to Gibbs and Williams, five other players from Alabama high schools and colleges got on the field during the Seattle-Detroit game:

· Terrion Arnold (Alabama) started at cornerback for the Lions. Arnold made five tackles and broke up one pass.

· Lions safety Brian Branch (Alabama) was designated as a game-day inactive. A concussion kept Branch out of the lineup.

· Carlton Davis (Auburn) started at cornerback for the Lions. Davis made seven tackles, recorded one tackle for loss, broke up three passes and recovered one fumble. Davis returned the fumble 49 yards to the Seattle 14-yard line in the first quarter to set up the Lions’ second touchdown. The fumble return was the fifth-longest in the NFL by an Auburn alumnus.

· Derick Hall (Auburn) started at outside linebacker for the Seahawks. Hall made four tackles and recorded one sack.

· Seahawks cornerback Josh Jobe (Alabama) is on the practice squad and not eligible to play.

· Lions defensive tackle Brodric Martin (Northridge, North Alabama) is on injured reserve and not eligible to play.

· Seahawks cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett (Jackson, Auburn) did not record any stats.

· Jarran Reed (Alabama) started at defensive end for the Seahawks. Reed made four tackles and recorded one sack.
