James Cook has a candid and blunt reaction to being snubbed by the Pro Bowl, and he has every reason to feel that way

The Buffalo Bills are the No. 2 seed in the AFC, and yet only two players from their roster were named to the Pro Bowl — Josh Allen, and Dion Dawkins. There were a number of players that likely should have been given the honor, but none more so than running back James Cook.

James Cook

Apparently leading the league in rushing touchdowns (15) isn't a good enough resume to make the cut. In his way is Houston running back Joe Mixon.

It's not just the raw counting stats like touchdowns. In terms of efficiency metrics, Cook has had a dramatically better season than Mixon. Here's how the two stack up:

In a variety of ways, Cook had a more efficient and impactful season, while also logging a similar amount of rushing yards on 43 less carries.

Cook had a very clear and blatant response to being snubbed for this year's Pro Bowl.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Personal accolades don't mean everything, but it's certainly nice to be recognized for your work. Cook is having a monster of a breakout season, and is arguably the most important player on offense outside of Josh Allen. His contributions and ability to break big plays has been a huge reason why the Buffalo offense has been one of the best in the league this year.

Pro Bowl or not, Cook will take his talents into the postseason as he hopes to propel Buffalo to a Super Bowl run.
