Jamal Adams trolled the Seahawks with a hard truth, but Devon Witherspoon responded

Jamal Adams remains one of the biggest trash talkers in the NFL, even now that he's on his third act with the Tennessee Titans and not even listed as a starter on their depth chart. Adams had a lot to say to his former Seattle Seahawks teammates during yesterday's joint practice, at least until he left the field on account of "general soreness."

Today Adams was in peak form once again, constantly jawing with everybody on the other side, including the Seahawks offense, defense and special teams units. Adams may have actually struck a nerve at one point, when he pointed out that the San Francisco 49ers are likely to dominate this team yet again in 2024.

Truth hurts. However, actions always speak louder than words and the Seahawks responded in the best possible way, led by second-year cornerback Devon Witherspoon.

After he picked off Titans quarterback Will Levis, Witherspoon sought out Adams on Tennessee's sideline and handed him the ball.

Glorious. After practice was over, Witherspoon made it clear that he admires Adams and everything he learned from him and it was all love.

Spoon and the rest of the Seahawks get the day off tomorrow, then they kickoff against the Titans on Saturday afternoon around 4:00 p.m. Pacific time.
