Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt is having a great training camp for the New York Giants ahead of his second season in the NFL.

Jalin Hyatt impresses during Giants training camp with catch that was reminiscent of Ramel Keyton against Florida

Hyatt, a third round selection by the Giants in 2023, has already made several impressive plays during camp, including a diving catch on Sunday that was reminiscent of former Vols wide receiver Ramel Keyton's famous catch against the Florida Gators in 2022.

Here's the catch from Hyatt on Sunday.

Here's another look from a better angle.

And here's the catch that Keyton made in 2022, in case you want to see it again (for the 10,000th time if you're a Tennessee fan).

Hyatt didn't have to quite go full extension for his catch on Sunday, but that's because he's a bit faster than Keyton (no offense to Keyton, who more than held his own in the SEC and is now getting a chance as an undrafted free agent with the Las Vegas Raiders).

The Giants are hoping for a breakout season from Hyatt in 2024. Based on what we've seen from the former Vol so far during camp, it seems like it's more a question of "when" the breakout is coming, not "if".
