ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter predicts that the Daniel Jones era is likely to be over for the New York Giants | NFL News - Times of India

According to reports, three banner-carrying planes will not fly over the home finale against the Indianapolis Colts, with unfavorable weather conditions as the reason.

However, though the Week 17 aerial display has been grounded, NFL insider Ryan Novozinsky revealed a new development.

A customer has secured a banner flight over Lincoln Financial Field for the Giants’ game against the Eagles in the Week 18 finale.

The message will read “TY NY for No. 26,” celebrating Saquon Barkley as he approaches the NFL single-season rushing record in his first season with the Eagles after the Giants let him become a free agent.

NJ.com reports another potential banner is in the works, as a Giants fan shared plans to commission a message unrelated to the Barkley tribute.

Originally targeting the final home game, the fan had to pivot to the Giants-Eagles matchup after learning the airspace was already reserved.

The message reportedly is still being finalized.

These aerial messages gained prominence when an anonymous fan made headlines with a banner that read “Mr. Mara Enough – PLZ FIX THIS DUMPSTER FIRE” before the Giants’ loss to the New Orleans Saints.

The story of flying banners over Giants games continues to evolve, with fans finding creative ways to express their thoughts about the team.
