Russell Wilson, legendary NFL quarterback, might not play with the new Las Vegas Raiders head coach, Pete Carroll, despite rumors going around saying so. Wilson played under Carroll when he was a part of the Seattle Seahawks for ten seasons, and definitely brought out great results together.

While Wilson played for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2024 NFL season, he has still not been signed by any team for the upcoming season, and is a free agent. According to recent reports, Wilson might be considered by the Las Vegas Raiders who are indeed looking for a new quarterback this season. However, Wilson, in a recent appearance with the press, said that he would like to play once more for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“I’m looking forward to hopefully going back to the Steelers and we’ll see what happens with the rest. I love it in Pittsburgh.” Russell Wilson told the Associated Press.

Russell Wilson was the 75th pick in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft and was selected by the Seattle Seahawks, whom he played for from 2012 to 2021. After that, Wilson moved to the Denver Broncos from 2022 to 2023 and then to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the most recent NFL season. During his college days, Wilson played for North Carolina State from 2007 to 2010 and then Wisconsin in 2011.
