The Bachelor season 28’s winning couple Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson have been dealing with floods of relationship rumors, but I’m convinced Dancing With The Stars is giving Kelsey the most trouble, though not for the reasons you’d think. Joey and Kelsey met during his time as the lead of The Bachelor season 28, which Joey appeared in after coming in as the runner-up during Charity Lawson’s season of The Bachelorette. Where there was potential between Joey and other women of his season, his connection with Kelsey was the most palpable, and the pair got engaged during The Bachelor finale.
While Joey and Kelsey have been open and honest about their relationship after their time on the show, the media has still taken the opportunity to try and stir up trouble. Early on in their engagement, Kelsey and Joey shared their plans moving forward, and both seemed like they’d be open to more appearances on reality TV. They’ve both appeared more than once within the Bachelor franchise and Kelsey’s father, Mark Anderson, took a leap of faith to try to find love on The Golden Bachelorette season 1, so reality TV wasn’t a big leap, but things may be changing.
With Joey currently appearing on Dancing With The Stars season 33, there’s been a lot of talk about the former Bachelor and his stunning partner, Jenna Johnson. While Jenna, a longtime DWTS pro, is married to fellow professional dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy, is simply Joey’s dance partner, the media immediately tried to make it seem like she and Joey had something going on behind the scenes. Kelsey, annoyed with rumors about her relationship in the press, chose to defend Joey and reassure her followers about her relationship. Still, I think something about Dancing With The Stars has gotten under Kelsey’s skin.
Joey’s had to work day in and day out to perfect his routines, and I think that’s threatening to Kelsey.

Although Joey has been on reality TV before, many were concerned about his appearance on Dancing With The Stars season 33, as he’s never shown that he can dance or perform in the past. Most Bachelor Nation fans felt Joey would be an early boot, but were excited to see him dance. While Kelsey and Joey both tried to reassure Bachelor Nation that they’d be surprised by Joey’s showing, it felt like it was too good to be true. After seeing Joey be a wonderful contestant on The Bachelorette and a standup Bachelor, seeing him succeed felt like too much.
