Gabe Davis’ season with the Jaguars is clearly over. During last month’s blowout loss to the Detroit Lions, Gabe Davis was injured with 2:56 left in the third quarter:

No one had a clue at the time that he wouldn’t be back on the field again until 2025.

The Jaguars were losing 42-6 to the Lions at the time of his injury. It would then be announced that Davis would miss the remainder of the season with a torn meniscus in his left knee.

Fast forward to mid-December, and the standout Jaguars wide receiver is now showing off his knee after completing surgery.

Prayers up: #Jaguars receiver Gabe Davis posted a video of his knee, which was just operated on for his torn meniscus.

Davis has a very long road of recovery ahead of him.

The Jaguars signed Gabe Davis to a three-year, $39 million deal in March, and over his ten games, he caught 20 passes for 239 yards and two touchdowns.

After releasing WR Zay Jones and allowing WR Calvin Ridley to sign with the Tennessee Titans in free agency, he helped rebuild the team’s receiving corps.

Last month, the Jaguars put Davis on injured reserve after the 52-6 loss to the Lions left him with a torn meniscus.

Depending on the severity of the tear, Gabe Davis could be sidelined for a few months as he recovers and goes through rehabilitation.

A healthy Gabe Davis on the field will be key for the Jaguars to return to form in 2025.
