Houston Texans bolster defense with recent roster move before facing in-state rival

It's no secret that the Houston Texans are slowly starting to fall apart in certain areas of the team. Now this may not be something we really need to worry about, but at this moment there are far more issues than anyone thought the Texans would have. Luckily, most of them are on the offensive side of the ball, where a few players back from injury could certainly help.

The Texans have help on the way, too, as they just made a roster move. However, it's not to the offensive side of the ball. The Texans made some defensive roster moves.

According to Aaron Wilson, a Texans insider, the Texans are signing defensive back D'Angelo Ross back to the practice squad.

The defense could use some depth pieces, sure, but they still performed very well against the Detroit Lions, believe it or not. This is one of the best offenses in the entire league, you could probably say the best. But, they were shut down in the first half by the Texans' defense.

The offense struggled to score any more points as the game went on. They need help, in several areas, and it's not a secret -- everyone sees it.

As for Ross, he is a veteran who has played in several games for the Texans already this year. This will be a great move for the practice squad. The Texans will play the Dallas Cowboys next on Monday Night Football, where they will get an extra day of rest for a big in-state rivalry. After that they will play the Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
