Jalen Pitre injured his pectoral during the first half of Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans. Tests determined that Pitre suffered a partially torn pectoral muscle and wasn’t initially expected to undergo surgery but would weigh a second opinion. He missed Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Texans are coming off BYE and host the Miami Dolphins for Week 15.

As Schultz points out, Pitre, their star nickel cornerback, will miss the rest of the 2024 season, which is a devastating loss for the Houston Texans’ defense.
