“His contract is worse than Deshaun Watson’s” – Dak Prescott’s yet another embarrassing outing against 49ers has fans raising some serious concerns

For much of the past two weeks, Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys dominated the news after their blowout home loss to the Detroit Lions. Now that they were emerging from bye week, the playoff hopefuls were expected to give the inconsistent San Francisco 49ers a battle.

In the first half, the game was anything but high-scoring. The 49ers struggled to convert drives into the red zone and Dak Prescott threw an interception, but otherwise led his team to a lead. That lead stayed until the first 49ers drive in the third quarter.

Rookie running back Isaac Guerendo ran it through the middle to hand the San Francisco 49ers the lead. Now, with the need for America’s team to respond, Prescott started the next drive with short throws to his receivers. But they needed four yards shy on the next snap as their QB instantly rolled to his left.

He then squared his hips and threw a pass to CeeDee Lamb. The only problem with the play was that 49ers CB also knew who the intended receiver was and leaped into the air to intercept it with both his hands. To make matters worse, the 49ers capitalized on the next possession and scored to increase their lead.

But it was not just the interceptions that proved fateful for the Dallas Cowboys. On the next two drives, the 49ers made life difficult for Prescott. They did not allow the highest paid player in NFL history to convert even a first down.

On the contrary, one of the lowest-paid quarterbacks in the league, Brock Purdy, dived into the end zone to help his team increase their lead. All while maintaining composure and not throwing the ball to an opponent.

Fans unload into Dak Prescott after turning the game over

Football fans of the game watched as the San Francisco 49ers QB kept his cool while Dak Prescott had another day to forget. His two fourth-quarter touchdowns were some respite in terms of the scoreline.

Dak Prescott's struggled could derail Dallas Cowboys season with tough games coming up

But fans know all too well that had it not been for those turnovers, the Cowboys could have won this game. The 49ers still appeared to not be the all-dominating 49ers of past seasons.

Evidently, the 31-year-old’s play was the subject fans addressed on social media. They went on a roll talking about the flaws in his game and how it is hurting the team. Check out some examples of such comments below;

The remaining ten games of the regular season feature eight playoff contenders. With none of them truly clearing the league with their season records, they will be looking to win against the Cowboys. If the Cowboys want to win, Dak Prescott will have to elevate his game.
