Here's Why Gia Giudice Is Gushing Over Her Boyfriend, Christian Carmichael: "I Am So Happy"

The Next Gen NYC cast member shared another peek at her life with her longtime beau.

Gia Giudice is enjoying the perks of dating a handyman.

On Tuesday, July 1, the Next Gen NYC cast member shared another glimpse at her life with Christian Carmichael, the New Jersey-based salesman she started dating in early 2020. Gia posted a video of her and her beau’s low-key night at home as they caught up on Love Island USA and did some bedroom organizing.

“So, basically, I have a lot of PR [products] and nowhere to store it, so Christian is assembling a little storage cabinet for me,” Gia said in the TikTok.

Although assembling furniture can be frustrating and time-consuming, Christian handled the task like a pro. Gia filmed her beau sitting on the floor as he separated dozens of wood panels and began piecing them together.

“We’re making progress,” Gia said as Christian looked over the instructions. “We have piles. Almost broke it, but we’re making progress. Trying to organize… But yeah, I’m stressed.”

As Christian assembled the cabinet, Gia began sorting through her various beauty products, which she would place inside her new storage unit.

“He’s been working for three hours,” she continued. “Best boyfriend.”

Christian seemingly kept his cool throughout the process, never looking defeated or impatient. His determination eventually paid off, as he completed the cabinet a few hours later.

“This looks so good,” Gia said, while showing off the eight-drawer unit. “It’s done!”

However, Christian’s handyman tasks weren’t quite over. Several minutes later, Gia revealed she accidentally broke her vanity.

“I literally pulled it off the screws. How?” she said.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter pointed the camera toward Christian, who was seen under the dressing table with a screwdriver in hand. It’s unclear what exactly Gia broke, but her boyfriend managed to fix the issue before placing the new cabinet by her vanity.

“This looks so good. I am so happy right now,” Gia said. “Guys, I feel like a new person. I need to get organizing bins, but I organized everything by category: powders, face, foundations, cream products … It just looks so good.”

Gia shared the relationship update as she prepares for a potential home move. The Jersey-based podcaster revealed her plans to leave her family’s Montville home by the end of the summer and relocate somewhere closer to NYC.

“My schedule has only picked up since Next Gen NYC, which is funny, because it picked up the summer we were filming Next Gen, and no one knew that we were filming it,” she recently told Today. “It’s just my career kind of started picking up, and my brand started growing, and I am in the city at least four times a week, so it’s a lot of back and forth from Jersey.”

Gia said she wanted to start looking for apartments in August with the goal of moving by September.

So, where will the Jersey native live? She isn't quite sure yet, but she isn't quite sold on the Big Apple.

"I don't think I ever want to move into the city," she said in Next Gen NYC Season 1, Episode 3. "It's beautiful from an aerial view, beautiful when you take photos, but it doesn't smell nice. It's literally just gross."
