Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld have been an item for a while now, and when a couple has been together for a long time, they develop things they love to do with each other.
For Hailee, that thing is watching Allen do his thing in the kitchen.
Steinfeld was speaking to PEOPLE and stated cooking is "one of our favorite things to do together," and she also revealed that when Allen is cooking up a storm, she usually tries to sit back and let No. 17 do his thing.
“I'm a real good sous chef, I'll say that much," Steinfeld said via PEOPLE. "I can assist very well. There really isn't anything he's not great at. So, he can cook, and I love to just sit back and watch the magic happen and assist when and where I can — but it changes often!”
We didn't get from Hailee what her favorite dish is that Allen cooks up, but based on her comments, we imagine it to be a number of things with the Bills quarterback not only a star on the field but now also in the kitchen.
Josh recently won the NFL MVP award for his outstanding 2024 season and thanked Hailee in his acceptance speech, and with the pair engaged, attention has turned to when the big day will be.
As it happens, the MVP trophy comes with a financial boon to Josh as well.
Allen, 28, has already signed one big contract extension in his career and he’s rumored to be near doing do so again with the Bills. But for the moment?
Allen's contract includes a clause that allows him to earn a $1.5 million bonus for winning the MVP. So he is cashing in in almost every possible way - short of making and winning the Super Bowl, which is of course his ultimate goal.
Now, what about that obviously upcoming wedding?
Obviously, it will be something that is kept under wraps, and who knows, with Allen's skills in the kitchen, maybe he might have a dish on the wedding menu.
