Josh Allen has officially been off the market for a few weeks now, since on Saturday, May 31, the Buffalo Bills quarterback and reigning MVP married to his fiancée, actress Hailee Steinfeld. The two tied the knot in a private ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California.![]()
Allen and Steinfeld must have known early on that they were meant for each other, because the couple was engaged for less than a year. Allen proposed to Steinfeld during the Bills’ bye week in November on a California cliff that overlooked the gorgeous Pacific Ocean.
While the wedding has been over for a couple weeks, congratulations are still pouring in. This week, the wife of a popular NFL quarterback congratulated the two, and it was an interesting surprise.
Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen Keep Getting Well-Wishes for Wedding
On Tuesday, June 17, Steinfeld shared a post on Instagram with Polaroid photos of the couple at their wedding. The retro-looking photo drew plenty of congratulatory comments, including from a WAG.
Christen Goff, the wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, commented on the post, stating, “Congratulations” with a smile and heart emoji.
Now, Goff isn’t one of Allen’s arch rivals on the field, because they aren’t even in the same division, but they were both of for MVP honors last season, so they are still considered friendly rivals. It’s nice to see Goff, who is a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and pregnant with her first child with Goff, supporting another WAG.
The Bills aren’t scheduled to play the Lions this season. The last time they played the team was on Dec. 15 ,2024, when they beat the Lions, 48-42. That was a huge game for the Bills, because they snapped the Lions’ winning streak.

So, what went down at the wedding of the summer. Regarding the theme of the wedding, the two had black-and-white color scheme for their wedding, as reported by Brides magazine, “positioning large arrangements of white flowers throughout the outdoor ceremony space.”
Brides magazine also states that “the dress code may have also directed guests to dress in neutral tones, as the majority of attendees were pictured in black attire. During the ceremony, a few guests held white parasols to shield themselves from the sun.” Also, the couple reportedly said their vows to each other under a tented canvas structure, according to photos in the Daily Mail.
Allen and Steinfeld still haven’t really confirmed their official guest list yet, but plenty of photos from the event give clues into who was there. For example, comedian, writer and actor Larry David was there, which is pretty surprising. David was a producer on “Seinfeld” and also the star of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
Also on the guest list, as expeted, were some of Allen’s Buffalo Bills teammates, such as Dawson Knox, Spencer Brown, Mitch Trubisky and Shane Buechele. Sean McDermott was also there. So, it was a packed event to celebrate these two starting a future together.
