Recently former NBA star Gilbert Arenas talked about Stephen Curry on his podcast. Arenas questioned the notion that Curry would still be a top player if he lost his three-point shooting ability. He asked his fellow podcasters whether Curry would still be a top 2 guard in the NBA without his three-point shot.

Rashad McCants responded by saying that Curry wouldn’t be a top 2-point guard under those circumstances. However, the podcasters agreed that Curry could still be dangerous with his ability to drive to the basket.

Without the three-pointer, Curry is still left with a deep scoring bag. The former MVP excels with his drives to the basket and mid-range shots. However, the three-pointer remains his primary weapon for scoring. Additionally, Curry is known for his exceptional playmaking skills and is one of the best ball handlers in the league.

Stephen Curry has had a remarkable 15-year NBA career but had never represented the USA in the Olympics until this year. At 36, Curry finally joined Team USA for the 2024 Paris Olympics as one of the veteran stars.
