One of the biggest decisions the Giants have to make has to do with their future at quarterback.

Many different options have been suggested for them. New York could choose to pursue a quarterback upgrade in free agency. Another route could be to trade up in the 2025 NFL draft to land either Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders.

Regardless of which direction the Giants choose to go, they cannot afford to miss.

A new prediction has suggested that New York could be the "best fit" for an enormous quarterback move.

Tyler Dragon of USA Today has named the Giants as the "best fit" for free agent quarterback Sam Darnold.

"In totality, Darnold's 2024 season was much improved from what we've previously seen from the journeyman. Darnold has options. The Vikings could re-sign him, Seattle is rumored to be interested or maybe even the Giants," Dragon wrote.

He continued on, stating clearly that he thinks Darnold should sign with New York.

"I believe Darnold should return to New York, but this time in a blue uniform."

Darnold has received a market value projection from Spotrac of just over $160 million on a four-year deal.

That price tag would be worth it for the Giants. However, there will be other teams who could convince Darnold to sign with them instead.

During the 2024 NFL season with the Minnesota Vikings, Darnold completed 66.2% of his passes for 4,319 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
